Abstract CASE REPORT A 77-year-old man noticed the gradual growth of a plaque lesion with a 4-year history on his left temporal region. On examination, he had a partly pigmented, waxy, and elevated plaque lesion measuring 2 × 1.5 cm on his left side of the temporal region (Fig. 1). The nodule was completely excised after the diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma. Histopathologic examination showed a neoplasm composed of lobules of basaloid cells (Fig. 2). No evidence of recurrence has been observed at 1 year after excision.
